    ABOUT 3D ULTRASOUND & 4D ULTRASOUND

    What is ultrasound?

Ultrasound is exactly the same as sound waves, but ultrasound wavelength is much greater than sound waves; we do not hear it therefore. This sound waves are clearly transmitted to the baby by an ultrasound system and the bouncing back waves are received and the pictures are made.

Is ultrasound safe for my baby?

The ultrasound scan has been shown to be a healthy, non-invasive, precise and cost-effective pregnancy work-up to monitor foetal wellbeing. It has increasingly become an integral obstetric instrument and plays an important role in any pregnant woman's treatment. In pregnant women, ultrasound is used many times to monitor the health status of their foetus, even under such particular circumstances.

Do I need to come with full bladder before the scan?

In order to scan the baby at lower stages of pregnancy of pregnancy, a full bladder is requested, but normally 3D/4D ultrasound is conducted at higher gestational that does not require a full bladder.

Is there anything that I can do to boost the clarity of the picture of my baby and improve the motion of my baby?

Throughout the last 48 hours before the ultrasound, drinking enough water can increase the amount of amniotic fluid and enable us to produce better images of your baby. Taking a form of food that gives you more energy an hour before the scan will also increase the movement of the infant.

What is the best time for 3D ultrasound scan?

After week 8 of your pregnancy, you may go for an ultrasound scan at any time. You can receive a 2D ultrasound during the first trimester (week 8 to 12 of your pregnancy) to listen to the sound of the baby's heart or see the movements and development of the baby. During week 24 or 25 of the birth, the perfect moment to see the baby and remember the components of the face is that any fat circulates on the face of the baby and it would be a real joy to look at the baby's face.

What is the best time to find our my baby's gender?

After week 18 or 20 of your pregnancy, the easiest and most precise period to decide the gender of the baby is, but we have been able to discover the gender of the baby as early as week 13-14 of pregnancy. If the baby is a boy and the abdominal wall is thin to medium in a healthy place and the amniotic fluid surrounding the baby is enough, we can see the gender of the baby early in birth. In 2-4 weeks, if there is any question about the gender of the baby, we will make another appointment to repeat the session without any fee.

    General Information

Since the mid-1950s, ultrasound (also called sonogram, sonography or ultrasonography) has been used for medical diagnostic purposes. Ultrasound is technically the same as sound waves, but its waves are far more regular than detectable sound. The high-frequency sound waves are conveyed across the abdomen wall and the uterus to the foetus baby by a transducer probe). The waves then bounce off the infant and head to the ultrasound unit again. Finally, the computer transforms the bounced waves to somewhat more accurate 2-Dimensional (2D) or 3D (3-Dimensional) images. It presents us with the ability to see our babies inside the womb using 3D ultrasound.

    Safety on Ultrasound

Long-term experiments have demonstrated that ultrasound is typically a healthy, non-adverse modality for the diagnosis of many diseases. For both a pregnant woman and her unborn baby, it is healthy. This refers to 2D ultrasound, 3D ultrasound, and 4D ultrasound as well.

    Ultrasound in 2D

In obstetrics, the standard procedure for evaluating and diagnosing pregnancy disorders is 2D ultrasound, but it only provides flat, grey images. 2D ultrasound is usually a well-known instrument for measuring the growth and development of the embryo in the uterus. Pregnancy anomalies such as pregnancy in irregular positions i.e. ectopic) and placental separation (i.e. abruption) are also a beneficial means of diagnosing. Usually, a 2D ultrasound for medicinal reasons requires a requirement from physicians and is protected by health insurers.

The first proof of the baby's presence is the foetal heartbeat. At 5.5 weeks of pregnancy, we can see the foetal heart by 2D ultrasound probes implanted within the vagina (transvaginal ultrasound). 3D 4D ultrasound is not typically used at this point to see the infant since they do not provide us much detail relative to 2D ultrasound, which shows us black and flat pictures and needs a specialist to view them.
